It improves physical performance in daily activities and sports. Supports and stabilizes joints, reducing the risk of injury. Adds confidence, motivation and strength to one's life.
Developed by Joseph Pilates, this method focuses on strengthening muscles, improving core stability, and enhancing posture. Pilates increases flexibility, balance, and overall health while being gentle on the joints, making it suitable for everyone. Exercises can be performed on a mat or using various equipment, including reformers, chairs, towers, trapeze, and Cadillacs, accommodating all skill levels.

Injury prevention training is a primary focus. Janice understands injuries and works with therapists to maintain a healthy, functional lifestyle. Having some education in physical therapy assistant school and working with Therapists over the years has helped Janice become a better trainer, understanding the needs of her clients.
Personal Journey
Janice has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 2009 and was a competitor in Body Building, Fitness, & Figure, winning the California state overall championship in 2000. Her love for weight training began in high school and developed throughout the years. She started group reformer classes in 2010, loving it; she decided to become an instructor in 2023, specializing in private, semi-private, and group classes. Pilates has enhanced her skill level, offering greater flexibility, control and precision in her movement and building stronger core strength, balance, and posture. Her background is in dance, physical fitness, sports training, competitive swimming, weight-competition training, and physical therapy assistant school and training.

It takes “commitment” to do anything in life, “What’s stopping you from being healthy and “Fit for life?”
